New Yorker Joe McDonald (seen here with Gary Carter) is the Owner
and Publisher of DC Sports Day and the Editor-in-Chief of NY Sports Day. Joe is responsible for overseeing
the growth and expansion of the
site and running the Sports Day network. Joe, 34, lives
in Massapequa, NY.
Ryan Ballengee is a native of the Washington, DC area and is the Managing Editor of DC Sports Day. He has been there his entire life, and it is there he fostered his love for the game
of golf. He is the host of The 19th Hole Golf Show, an Internet based golf talk
radio show that airs on thegolfnewsnet.com (formerly the19thholeshow.net) and broadcastmonsters.com. The weekly commentary written by Ryan, known as The 19th Hole, appears
on several Websites on the Internet, including Sports Day's family of
websites.
Mark Healey (seen here with his family) has covered both the major and minor leagues on both a local and national level since 1998, and his articles have appeared in such publications as the Brooklyn Skyline newspaper and Mets Inside Pitch. His background also includes stints as a producer/reporter and anchor on WSTC-AM (Stamford, CT) and News Director at WRKL-AM (Pomona, NY). Mark is now the Exectutive Editor of the new magazine Gotham Baseball and his "Going Nine" column appears every week on NY Sports Day.
Gary Harding is a former President of the New York Islanders Booster Club, as well as a long time Mets fan. His most famous accomplishment is bowling a 300 game on May 4, 1994. Gary is engaged, and lives in Halesite, LI.
Patricia (Seen here with Tommy Albelin), an avid New Jersey Devils fan, is an administrator for the Devils' fan forum NJDevs.com. She also is the News Editor for their front page, contributing recaps and previews of games along with reporting news stories and other various pieces of information regarding the Devils and its entire organization. She's currently in school studying journalism and hopes to make writing her career in the future.
Greg Wyshynski's weekly sports and culture column 'The Jester's Quart' has been published on the web since 1997. A native of the Garden State (Exit 120), he is the features editor for SportsFan Magazine and sports editor of The Connection Newspapers of Northern Virginia. He firmly believes that the only difference between Gary Bettman and a donkey is that you can't --as of now-- ride Bettman to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Chris Poisal is a native Baltimorean and is a Staff Writer for DC Sportsday. Growing up in a sports rich area, Chris is a fan off all sports, especially hockey and baseball. He also co-hosted the On Deck Baseball show with Ryan Ballengee on BroadcastMonsters.com for two years. Chris lives in the Baltimore area with his two year old son T.J.
